For the sixteenth Vinyl Janchi at Space Soda 2002, I created a key visual centered on the circular form of a record and the connections built around music. Two figures reach toward one another to complete the circle, representing the exchange of records, tastes, and conversations that brings the community together. A limited palette of lavender, green, black, and gray gives the hand-drawn artwork a relaxed but recognizable presence. The visual was extended across the event poster, venue graphics, and merchandise, bringing consistency to a day of DJ sets, a vinyl flea market, and collaborations with food and beverage partners attended by more than 600 people.
